- November's work with corporations and military all over the world has led him and others to believe that the most important characteristic that students must possess as they begin their careers is empathy. Our students will not be able to succeed in a global economy unless they understand the lives, customs and people of the world.
- Teachers have to be learning constantly. Networks such as Twitter can bring a flood of new information from all over the world that will help educators keep up with the world that our students live in every day. Unless we are excited and passionate about the possibilities of technology in our classrooms, it will be difficult for our students to be valuable contributors to a future society.
